Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region possess some of the most beautiful parks. These parks are a great place to take a stroll, walk your dog, see stunning geological formations and spend some quality time in nature. There are a number of parks worth taking a trip to:

Garden of the God’s Park


Garden of the God’s Park was named #1 Park in the US and #2 Park in the World by TripAdvisor in 2014. This park is owned by the City of Colorado Springs and has visitors from all 50 states and more than 60 countries each year. Come discover the beauty and history of the 1,367-acre Garden of the Gods Park. This park is a unique biological area where you can find grasslands, woodlands and the mountain forest all within this single park. The 300 million years of geological history of this park is home to one of the most stunning pictures of earth history found in the United States.

Cheyenne Mountain State Park


Cheyenne Mountain State offers 2,701 acres of nature’s prairie and 20 miles of hiking and biking.

Bear Creek Dog Park


10 acres of fully fenced land allows you and your dog to enjoy the space worry-free. This park includes splash areas, shade, fenced agility training, 3/4 mile trail loop, fenced small-dog area, benches, picnic tables, water fountain, information kiosk, trash cans, bag dispensers and restrooms.

Paint Mines Interpretive Park


This park is extremely rich in both animal and plant life. All of the trails in this park will take you to the same location and on the way you can explore the overhands, spires, carved walls and a wide color range of rocks.
