Kiddos of all ages love Garden of the Gods.  Exploring new trails, climbing rocks and surveying a surreal landscape that feels like you are in the middle of a never-before-explored world,  always spells adventure.

In whatever season you go and whatever the time of day, it’s always a good idea to wear layers and good hiking shoes.  As long as you are comfortable, there is impossible to not enjoy this place!

Park WebsiteFee: an Arm & a Leg (It’s about $20 a ticket. Check their site for current pricing. Season passes are available.)

Is this place expensive? Yes.  Is it worth it?  If you have young kiddos and a love of simpler times – ABSOLUTELY!  I enjoy Santa’s Workshop every bit as much as my kids do.  Every time we go I gulp hard when I purchase the tickets and then, well, it is the most relaxing, enjoyable day and I don’t give the price of admission another thought.
